The Company
"Kris-R" Ltd. was founded back in 1990, in the city of Gorna Oriahovitsa, right after the transition to market economy in Bulgaria. It was initially registered as a sole trader. The company’s main area of business is the buying, processing, storing and trade of re-usable scrap metal.
"Kris-R" Ltd. is a member of the "Phoenix Resource" trade association in Sofia, a member of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. It is a member since the foundation of the association in 1994. We are proud to say that, for the last 12 years of operation, 6 major scrap processing yards have been established.
By order of the mayor of the city, and according to the reduction of the pollution from ELV (End of Life Vehicles) law, on 14/02.2002 Kris-R was granted a license to become the 1st dismantling center for ELV in the region.
The company has a contract with the municipality to collect, store and dismantle the ELV according to the aforementioned law. Since June 2003 "Kris-R" has become Ltd. (LLC), and was granted a termless license to trade with ferrous and non-ferrous metals issued by the ministry of economy on 19.12.2003
The company now has over 50 full-time employees.
